Colby Hill Inn Intimate Wedding
Heather and Mike planned their wedding on a much shorter timeline then what is normal now. They got engaged in March in Paris of the same year as their intimate wedding at Colby Hill Inn. When they described their day to me they said they wanted a day of family, great food, and music. They were so intentional about everything from the decor to the guest list. They truly made sure their wedding experience was everything they ever wanted.
As Heather prepared in the couple’s beautiful carriage house suite, I took their details over to the historic main inn where they would eventually both be getting ready. Heather put on the most beautiful custom silk gown, while Mike put on a classic black suit. They had a private first look and exchanged sweet notes before their ceremony in the orchard. The sunset was the main event as the late fall past peak colors of New Hampshire were brought out by the golden hour light. It got chilly outside quick, cocktail hour continued in the historic barn wedding venue and the five course dinner with wine pairings meal was served to each of their 45 guests in the immaculately decorated barn.
Heather and Mike love the Beatles and music of the 60s so their entire wedding was designed after that theme. Throughout dinner family members and important guests would stand and make toasts to the couple between courses. They cut their cake, they danced, and every detail of the day was beautiful.
